Johannes von Zmuda

Software engineer and research associate with a focus on robotics, autonomous driving, and reliable software systems.

My work combines research and hands-on software development in areas such as ROS 2, C++, software architecture, automated testing, and CI/CD infrastructure. I develop and maintain complex software systems for autonomous driving applications, including build, packaging, and deployment pipelines.

Before joining academia, I worked as a SAP Commerce (Hybris) developer, gaining experience in enterprise software development and large-scale distributed software projects.

I am particularly interested in robotics, autonomous systems, Linux-based development, software quality, and designing efficient engineering and development processes.
